中国西部地区地域辽阔,旅游资源极为丰富,但入境旅游发展相对滞后,亟待提高在研究中的被关注程度。而关于入境游客对西部旅游热点城市的旅游认知研究,是西部入境旅游发展中的重要问题,对西部城市国际旅游形象的树立、旅游目的地的建设等方面极具参考价值。基于此,本文以2008年5-10月在北京、上海、西安、广州等13个旅游热点城市所做入境游客调查问卷为基础,以乌鲁木齐、敦煌、成都、西安、昆明等5个西部城市为研究对象,比较入境游客旅华前和旅华后旅游认知的差异,分析了影响入境游客旅游认知的主要因素。研究结果显示:入境游客的旅游认知受到客源国文化、旅游客源地和目的地间的距离、旅游城市特色等因素影响,且游客的人口统计特征对旅游认知影响显著。其中,西安的整体认知度较高,昆明、敦煌和成都游后认知高于游前;乌鲁木齐的认知度较低,且游前与游后认知差异不大。
Western China is a region with a vast territory and rich tourism resources,but the development of inbound tourism is relatively lagging behind,which needs to be concerned in research.Therefore the cognitive research of tourism of the inbound tourists on the hot spots in western China is an important problem in the tourism development of the Western region and it is a good reference for setting up the image of international tourist cities and for the constructing tourist destination.On account of above,based on the survey which is conducting in May to October,2008 in 13 hot spots of inbound tourist cities including Beijing,Shanghai,Xi'an,Guangzhou,the research take 5 cities including Urumqi,Dunhuang,Chengdu,Xi'an,Kunming as the study subjects to compare the cognitive differences of inbound tourists about the change before and after their visiting to China and to analyze the main factors influencing the cognitive of tourists.The results show that the cognition of inbound tourists are affected by these factors as the culture background,the distances between tourist source country and the destination country,and the characteristics of the tourist cities.The demographic characteristics have marked impacts on tourists' cognition.The overall cognition of the Xi'an is high.The cognition of tourists becomes higher after their visit in Kunming,Chengdu and Dunhuang.Urumqi has a lower cognition and shows little difference before and after the visit.
