Upon examinations of Trichoderma collections from different regions of China, twelve species are reported for the first time from China, including T. austriacum, T. britdaniae, T. caerulescens, T. eijii, T.foliicola, T. margaretense, T. petersenii, T. pseudolacteum, T. rodmanii, T. rogersonii, T. stilbohypoxyfi and T. voglmayrii. According to the current nternational Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi and plants, three species previously described under the generic name Hypocrea are transferred to Trichoderma as new combinations. Descriptions and illustrations of these fungi are provided
