In this paper, the method of "electron track" and its application in the teaching of university organic chemistry have been s ummarized. With the utilization of heuristic teaching, this method can help the students better understand the main important knowledge in each chapter. Additionally, it can prompt students focusing on the concept of electron flow, which is the nature of organic reaction.
