In recent years, totally laparoscopic total gastrectomy has been more and more widely used. However, esophagojejunostomy followed by total gastrectomy is relatively complex. End-to-side anastomosis using double stapling device and side-to-side anastomosis using linear stapling device are applied commonly. The two methods have both advantages and disadvantages. So surgeons should choose appropriate methods of anastomosis according to the specific circumstances for patients＇ recovery.
