Type 2 diabetes has been linked with colorectal cancer closely. There is high colorectal tumor risk in type 2 diabetic patients. However, the possible molecular mechanisms of relationship between the two diseases are not clear yet. The progress of molecular mechanisms was reviewed in this paper.
