According to the coal mining status of Tengnan coal mining area of Tengxian coalfield and the problem that need to be faced in coal mining,i. e.,Taiyuan formation coal seam is suffering a threaten of water inrushing from coal seam floor,the physical geography,stratigraphy,tectonic,hydrogeological conditions and characteristics were analyzed in Tengnan coal mining area,and it was divided into 3 grade-two units,8 grade- three hydrogeological units in accordance with the dividing basis. Through the hydrogeological condition analysis of hydrogeological units in Tengnan coal mining area,the conditions of aquifer recharge,runoff,discharge,and the connection between each aquifer were obtained.
