A new chromene based chemodosimeter (CHMPC) for thiols has been developed by Baylis-Hill- man reaction. Based on the thiols-chromene ‘click’reaction, CHMPC displayed colorimetric and fluorimet- ric responses toward thiols with high selectivity and sensitivity.
