The paper firstly summarized the standardized process of industry wireless network technologies, and introduced the network composing, topology, protocol architecture and key technologies of WIA-PA, which is the specification of industrial wireless network for process automation. Finally, the comparison between WIA-PA and other two main industrial wireless network specifications, WirelessHART and ISA SP100 was made.
