There are eleven ＂hen＂-modification structures in mondern Chinese, and they can be divided into four types. ＂hen＂-modification structures is whether grammatical or not depends on the sense of ＂hen＂ matchs the sense of modified constituents or not. According to that, the paper presents one explanation for eleven ＂hen＂-modifieation structures, and analyzes the reason of the other ungrammatical ＂hen＂-modification structures. At last, this paper discuss the other issues which have relations with the ＂hen＂.
