利用溶胶-凝胶方法合成了CdS纳米晶掺杂Na2O-B2O3-SiO2玻璃。通过透射电镜(TEM)以及附带的扫描模式透射(STEM),X射线能量散射谱(EDX)和高分辨透射电镜(HRTEM)分析CdS颗粒的形貌、微结构以及组成。结果显示,在钠硼硅玻璃先驱体中生成了CdS纳米晶,其晶相结构为六方相结构,颗粒尺寸在10~20 nm。此外,利用Z-scan技术在波长为770 nm研究该玻璃的三阶非线性光学性质。结果表明:该玻璃的三阶光学非线性折射率γ,三阶非线性吸收系数β以及三阶非线性磁化率χ(3)分别为-2.16×10-16 m2W-1,6.32×10-11 mW-1和7.32×10-10 esu,优于此前一些关于CdS纳米晶掺杂在不同基体中所得到的三阶非线性光学性质的结果。
CdS nanocrystals embedded in Na2O-B2O3-SiO2 glass was synthesized through sol-gel process.The morphology,microstructure and composition of the CdS particles were analyzed by transmission electron microscope(TEM) attaching to scanning-mode TEM(STEM),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX) and high resolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM).The analysis show that CdS nanocrystals are formed in sodium borosilicate glass matrix.CdS nanocrystals are determined to be of the hexagonal phase,and their sizes range from 10 to 20 nm.Furthermore,the third-order optical nonlinearities of the glass were studied by Z-scan technique at a wavelength of 770 nm.The nonlinear refractive index γ,the nonlinear absorption coefficient β and the third-order optical nonlinear susceptibility χ(3) were determined to be-2.16 ×10-16 m2W-1,6.32 ×10-11 mW-1 and 7.32 ×10-10 esu,respectively,which were greater than those reported previously for CdS nanocrystals embedded into different matrices.
