核脉冲信号的时间谱是粒子物理与原子核物理等研究领域所需获取的基本实验信息.在惯性约束聚变(ICF,Inertial Confinement Fusion)中子能谱分布的测量中要求时间分辨谱仪具有多通道同时测量的功能.为此,研制了一套八通道高分辨飞行时间谱仪系统.该系统采用恒比定时方法进行时间检出;ACAM公司生产的TDC-GP2时间测量芯片作为时间测量的核心部件;可编程逻辑器件(FPGA,Field Programmable Gate Array)通过串行外围接口(SPI,Serial Peripheral Interface)控制4片TDC-GP2芯片实现了八通道时间间隔测量.使用信号发生器对系统进行了时间分辨能力的测试和标定研究,其电子学时间分辨率可达60ps.
Time spectrum is basic information in particle physics and nuclear physics research.The property of multi-channel simultaneous measurement function is needed for the time spectrum measurement in Inertial Confinement Fusion(ICF).For this purpose,8-Channel high resolution time of flight spectrometer has been developed.The system used constant fraction discrimination(CFD)method in time discrimination.ACAM's TDC-GP2 chip was employed as the core component of this time spectrometer.To realize 8-Channels time measurement,Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)was used to control4 pieces of TDC-GP2 through serial peripheral interface(SPI).Signal generator was chosen to test the time resolution and calibrate the system,and the best time resolution of this system is 60 ps.
