The result of survey indicates： Well -built law basis, outstanding role of government and sound service system are charac- teristics of competitive intelligence （CI） supply system for small and medium-sized Enterprises （SMEs） in Japan, which provides Jap- anese SMEs with full range of CI products and services. This kind of government - led, NGO - as - supplement CI supply system could also shed light on CI supply for SMEs in China.
