外包纤维复合材料(FRP]约束混凝土柱,可以有效提高混凝土柱的承载力和延性。系统总结了几种较为典型的FRP约束混凝土柱的极限抗压强度和极限应变的计算方法,通过对已有大量试验研究结果的分析,指出FRP约束混凝土圆柱的性能主要取决于FRP对混凝土柱的约束效果,并引入约束效应系数(MCR),以MCR为主要参数,提出了一种新的FRP约束混凝土柱的极限强度和极限应变的计算公式,该公式的计算结果与大量试验数据吻合较好。
External confinement by the wrapping of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) is an efficient technique to increase the loading-carrying capacity and ductility of the concrete column. Several typical methods for calculating ultimate compressive strength and ultimate strain of FRP-confined column are summarized in the paper.It is pointed out that the behavior of FRP-confined concrete column is mainly related to the lateral confinement of FRP to concrete column by analysis of a large number of experimental results. The modified confinement ratio (MCR) is also introduced in the paper.Taking MCR as main parameter,a kind of new calculating model of ultimate compressive strength and ultimate strain for FRP-confined concrete column is put forward. The predictions of the model agree well with test data.
