应用PYTHIA产生器进行Monte Carlo模拟,分析了200 GeV下的质子质子(p+p)对撞过程中的不变产额,并对η衰变到γμ+μ^-的反应道进行了模拟.模拟结果表明,η的产额和衰变末态的μ子的产额之间有着线性关系.通过模拟估算了实验上因热密核物质中产额的增强而可能观测到的μ子对数,对实验观测和物理分析具有指导作用.该测量对检验手征对称理论有着重要的意义.
PYTHIA generator was used for Monte Carlo simulation. The invariant production of η meson in p+p collision at 200 GeV was studied by the decay channel:η→γμ+μ^-. The simulation results show a linear relationship between the invariant production of the η and μ. In the simulation, the statistics of the μ pairs, which could be observed in the experiment under the enhancement of the production of η in hot dense matter, was estimated. The simulation may serve as a guide for future experiments and physics analyses on the enhancement of the η production. This work is also an important test for the theory of chiral symmetry.
