Concrete cover cracking caused by reinforcement corrosion is thought to be one of the most important reasons of durability failure of reinforced concrete structure.Scholars at home and abroad have made extensive research in this regard.Based on the latest research results,it reviewd the theories,experiment and numerical simulation method of reinforcement corrosion caused cover cracking,summarizes the problems in current research,and proposes multi- scale numerical method to be applied to reinforcement corrosion caused cover cracking.
