Treanor＇s and Gear＇s methods are applied to chemical reactions in the process of NOx/SO2 removal. The results are satisfactory. The systems of NO - NO2 - N2, NO - NO2 - N2 -O2 and NO - NO2 - N2 - O2 - H2 O are discussed. The removal of NO, and SO2 is also discussed as CO2 and SO2 are added.
