The aerosol optical properties during the dust weather was studied by analyzing the observation data from the 2008 international Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) program's Mobile Facility (AMF) at Shouxian, China. The results show that the average value of aerosol extinction coefficient is 0.1 km- 1 in the atmospheric boundary layer. When the pollution is serious in surface layer, the maximum extinction coefficient reaches 1.1 km^-1. In addition, the minimum average value of Angstrom wavelength index (α) is 0.21 on May 28th. The maximum average value of single scattering albedo ( ωo ) is 0.888 on May 29th.
