Memetics is a new approach to cultural evolution based on Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. It also brings informational du?plication and creation to utterance changes and language transmissions. Based on memetics, and by making an exploration into the phenomenon of Zhuang and English idiom deviations, this article comes to the conclusion that both Zhuang and English idiom memes can be duplicated and deviated by different words with identical meaning, different structures with identical meaning;differ?ent meanings with identical structure, and different associations from identical morphology.
