With the development of capitalist economy in 20th Century,phenomenon of Devine absence like belief crisis and moral decay appeared.Conrad’s the Secret Agent vividly exhibit this problem in Lon-don writing by describing three places：from poor dirty grocery store,to the corner of green Hyder Park and the embassy district.The emergence of urban and anti-urban phenomenon in the construction of Lon-don,plus Conrad’s special experience of London are the profound reasons to exhibiting Devine absence in the Secret Agent.
