RMB internationalization brings international seigniorage income to China, and the increase of foreign exchange reserves caused by the surplus of balance of payments brings interna-tional seigniorage expenditure to China. Therefore, China has income and expenditure of interna-tional seigniorage. The surplus and deficit of international seigniorage have brought impact to the macroeconomic equilibrium of China. The impact of international seigniorage on China differs un-der different exchange rate system and different way of capital account control, and the way to re-cover after the impact is different.
