TNFAIP1 protein is the first identified TNF-α inducible protein.TNFAIP1 is a multifunctional gene involved in DNA replication,DNA repair,cell cycle and cell signal pathway.In this paper,RIN3（Ras interference 3）,that contain many functional domains shared with other RIN members and additional Pro-rich domains,was identified in a two-hybrid screen of a human fetal brain cDNA library by using TNFAIP1 as bait.Mutations of RIN3 were cloned,and then the interactions with TNFAIP1 were investigated.Co-immunoprecipitation and Subcellular localization studies demonstrated that TNFAIP1 interacts directly with RIN3,suggesting that TNFAIP1 may participate in cell phagocytosis and exocytosis.
