利用电磁感应透明效应的动力学过程我们在87 Rb冷原子系综中实验实现光学信号的存储和释放。通过改变信号光和耦合光的角度实现了自旋波波长的变化。在此基础上我们研究了存储寿命与自旋波波长的关系,结果表明,光存储寿命随自旋波波长(角度)的增加(减小)而增加,当自旋波波长大于2.2 mm(信号光和耦合光的角度小于0.02度)时,存储寿命可达到2.4 ms。
With the electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) dynamics, we realized the storage andrelease of optical signals in 87Rb cold atoms. We realized the change of Spin-wave length when varing theangle between signal and coupling light. Based on this, we studied the relationship between the storagelifetime and the Spin-wave length. Experimental results showed that the storage lifetime increases(decreases) with the length of Spin-wave (angle). When the spin-wave length exceeds 2.2 mm (the anglebetween signal and coupling light less than 0.02 degree) , the storage lifetime can reach 2.4 ms.
