The state of art and gap of China＇s mechanical seals and packing seals industry and common technology were summarized, the sealing technology needs and development trends were analyzed. The framework, organizational model and existing problems of sealing teehnology support system were expatiated, and some suggestions on further improve the sealing common technology support system were given.
