由于差分传播相移率(K_(DP))不受电磁波在雨区衰减影响,与降水强度呈线性关系,在定量降水估测和降水粒子相态识别方面具有重要作用。利用北京市气象局C波段双线偏振多普勒天气雷达观测数据,对差分相位(Φ_(DP))数据进行了质量分析和处理,包括地物杂波抑制、退折叠和滤波;再利用该雷达在2012年7月21日特大暴雨期间观测到的数据分析Φ_(DP)处理效果,并用处理后的Φ_(DP)数据估算K_(DP),对估算结果进行了分析。结果表明,该算法能有效识别地物杂波、退除差分相位折叠以及滤除干扰和降水移动等引起的随机数据波动,处理后的数据估算的K_(DP)能有效反映降水粒子的特性。
The specific differential phase is an important parameter for meteorological applications,such as rainfall estimation and particle identification,because it is not affected by propagation attenuation and it is closely related to rain intensity. In this paper,we use a set of algorithm to control the quality of differential phase data for C- band dual- polarimetric Doppler weather radar which is built in Beijing Meteorological Bureau(BMB),including ground clutter identification,phase unfolding initial phase identification and adjusting and phase filtering. To estimate the specific differential propagation phase by computing the derivative of range profiles of the differential phase. The data of the extraordinary rainstorm on 21 July 2012 is used to evaluate the algorithm. The results indicate that the algorithm can work on ground clutter,wrapped phase and statistical fluctuations,and the specific differential phase also can effectively reflect the characteristics of the precipitation particles.
