High-entropy alloy is mixed by five or more elements to form an alloy according to the equimolar ra tio or near equimolar ratio. With excellent mechanical, physical and chemical properties, high-entropy alloy has huge potential application. As a new surface treatment technology,combined with laser cladding,another space for the appli- cation of high-entropy alloys was opened. The current research situation of high-entropy alloy coating prepared by la- ser cladding technology in domestic and abroad is introduced, and its future development is prospected.
