The passenger flow assignment for urban rail transit is the basic theory to estimate the flow distribution in network. Firstly, this paper introduced the passenger flow assigmnent study with compara- tive analyzing the existing models＇ characteristics of the supply network framework modeling, passengers＇ travel behavior hypothesis and passenger flow assignment principle.
