Traffic emission of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons （PAHs） is a hot subject for scientific research. The influencing factors of PAHs emission from motor vehicle were reviewed, the influence of fuel quality, working conditions as well as the choice of additives on PAHs emission were discussed in detail. Pollution characteristics of PAils on different traffic roads and traffic occupational population exposures to PAHs were analyzed, the relevant studies about PAHs from motor vehicle were reviewed, and some suggestions on the development of traffic source PAHs were proposed as well.
