短柱在地震作用下容易发生剪切破坏,在结构设计中如何避免短柱及对短柱进行有效加强以提高其抗震性能是结构抗震设计的重要课题之一.本文系统阐述了结构设计中避免RC短柱及改善短柱抗震性能的方法,指出了现有各种方法的特点及应用范围,并着重对几种新方法的原理进行了探讨.在实际工程设计当中应根据结构的特点,综合考虑各方法的优劣,选择合理的方法,以有效改善RC短柱的抗震性能.
In a high-rise RC structure, the dimension of column section is usually too large due to the limitation of the axialcompression ratio of column, and thus can result in short column at the bottom floor. Short columns are prone to be brittle shear failure which may result in damage and even collapse of the structures during an earthquake. The schemes for improving the seismic behavior of RC short columns are reviewed in this paper and their characteristics and application scope are analyzed. In addition, the principles of several new methods are discussed. Finally, some suggestions for the future research and application of those schemes are presented.
