经济型连锁酒店是当前中国酒店经营的重要业态之一。基于504家如家快捷酒店连锁店相关数据,本文对其空间扩张过程和特点及影响因素进行了研究。研究发现,连锁店在数量增长上服从GRORTH函数,连锁城市表现为急剧的区域扩展,基本特征是以长三角、北京及附近地区为基地,向珠江三角洲及福建东南沿海地区,进而向整个东部地区和中西部地区扩展。东部地区优先发展,中西部同时并进,其间的时间间隔大约为3~4年。在省域内,除东部个别发达的省份外,多数地区尤其是中西部地区采取的是首先在省会和发达城市设店,然后再向其他二线城市扩展的战略。省级尺度的分析表明,连锁店数量和经济发展水平决定的资本形成总额、全体居民消费水平呈高度的正相关关系,所建立的线性模型较好地解释了三者之间的关系。
Budget-type chain outlets represent one of the important trends in current operation of hotels in China.Based on the relevant date of 504 chain outlets of Home Inn,the paper examines the process and characteristics of their spatial expansion and affecting factors.The study shows that the increasing number of chain outlets follows GRORTH function.The chain cities are featured by rapid regional expansion,with Yangtze River Delta regions,Beijing and adjacent areas as bases,spreading towards Pearl River Delta regions and southeast coastal areas of Fujian Province and further expanding to entire eastern region and middle and western regions.Developing priority is given to eastern region,followed by middle and western regions simultaneously,with time interval of about three to four years.Apart from individual developed provinces in eastern region,the development strategy is to first set up chain outlets in provincial capitals and some developed cities in most regions especially in middle and western regions,and then expand to secondary cities.Analysis of provincial scale shows that the number of chain outlets has significantly positive correlation with capital formation and residents ’ consumptive level decided by economic development level.The linear model established by the authors best explains the relationship of these three factors.
