Experiences on preventing accelerated flow in projects of slurry pipeline with high fall at home and abroad were summarized,and more than 10 kinds of energy dissipation methods were introduced. The analysis and comparison from technical and economic aspects could provide some reference for the engineering design and operation management of slurry pipeline running through various complicated terrain in the future.
