采用提拉法生长了尺寸为Φ25 mm×100 mm的大尺寸Nd3+与Yb3+掺杂的NaY(WO4)2晶体。对晶体的生长习性进行了讨论,利用XRD对晶体进行了相分析。测试了晶体的热膨胀特性,得到了主轴方向的热膨胀系数,测得沿c轴的膨胀系数大约为a轴的两倍。在室温下测试了Yb3+掺杂的NaY(WO4)2晶体的吸收谱、荧光光谱和相关能级的荧光衰减,用标准与改进的J-O理论分析了吸收光谱与荧光光谱。结果表明,Yb3+掺杂的NaY(WO4)2晶体有着较好的光谱性能参数。采用氙灯泵浦Nd3+掺杂的NaY(WO4)2,实现了1.06μm波段786 mJ的激光输出,同时在LD泵浦下,采用LBO晶体倍频,实现了87 mW的激光输出,基频光光转换效率为25%,斜率效率为7.98%。
Nd3+ and Yb3+ doped NaY(WO4)2 crystals with the size 25 mm×100 mm were grown by the Czochralski method.The habit of as-grown crystal was discussed and the phase of crystal was analyzed by XRD.The characteristics of thermal expansion were measured and the coefficient of thermal expansion of c axis was twice as much as a axis.Polarized absorption spectra,fluorescence spectra,and fluorescence decay curve were measured at room temperature.The standard and modified Judd-Ofelt theories have been performed to analyze the absorption spectra and the spectroscopic parameters.Results show that Yb3+ doped NaY(WO4)2 crystals have relatively large luminescent quantum efficiency.The Nd3+∶NaY(WO4)2 crystal was made into laser stick and and the laser experiment was performed using a xenon flash lamp as a pump source.Maximum pulse energy of 786 mJ with a repetition rate of 1Hz has been obtained.A maxinum output power of 87 mW and the double-frequency conversion efficiency is more than 25%,slope efficiency is 7.98%.
