For the metal was generally used in acid,we summarized the research of synergistic inhibition effects of metal corrosion occurrence and development and highlighted the synergistic effect on corrosion inhibition of metal in acid.The research progress and the mechanism of synergistic corrosion inhibition for metal in acid,neutral and alkaline and so on mediums were reviewed in detail,and the anti-synergistic corrosion inhibition was reviewed too.Especially the review focused on the synergistic laws and interaction of the inhibitor molecules（ions） on the mechanism research,and the case of anti-synergy between the inhibitiors on the corrosion inhibition of metal also refers.The prospects of the development trend are also discussed.
