In order to reduce the occurrence of landslides disasters, this paper analyzed the principle, applicability and advantages and disadvan-tages of borehole inclinometer, pull type deep displacement meter, multi-point displacement meter and time domain reflection technology com-monly used in side slope deep displacement monitoring technology, researched the characteristics of each monitoring technology, provided refer-ence for making suitable side slope monitoring implementation scheme.
