在利用归一化互信息研究红外热像仪图像和相应可见光图像的配准过程中,为提高配准效果,尝试将热像仪图像取负像,以使其与相应的可见光灰度图像比较相近。计算结果表明,可见光图像与相应的热像仪图像正像和负像的互信息配准结果相同,即互信息配准算法与正负像无关。理论证明也支持该结论的正确性。
When dealing with the registration of infrared thermal images and visual light images by means of normalized mutual information,we convert the infrared thermal images to their negative ones so that the converted images seem to be more alike with the corresponding visual light images.Actual computations,however,indicate that the registration based on mutual information is independent of positive or negative images,and this conclusion can be theoretically proved.
