Social service is one of the most important responsibilities of universities, which are supposed to serve the society through their resources of teaching and scientific research, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of higher education as well as the advance of society. With the demonstrating lab of physical experiment center of Xi＇an Aeronautical University as the example, the paper points out problems related to opening such labs to the society, and brings forth solutions to these problems, which is of referential significance for physical experiment labs to well serve the society.
