与全国重点高校相比，应用型本科院校大学生就业更加困难，其就业数量和质量远不如全国重点高校。但是应用型本科院校的大学生思维灵活、社会活动能力强，并且有一定的家庭经济条件，为自主创业打下良好的基础。同时应用型本科院校的双能型教师对与自主创业的大学生进行业务指导和培训，以提高他们的自主创业的成功率和质量。本文以安徽三联学院为例，提出了四项创业培育项目，来提高成功率质量。
