报道了一种由偏振敏感的光隔离器(ISO)和偏振控制器(PC)构成的掺Yb^3+光纤超短脉冲环形激光器,其在没有进行色散补偿的情况下,通过调节PC的方向,实现了稳定的锁模多脉冲运转。在偏振状态一定的情况下,随着抽运源功率的增加,光纤激光器输出经历单脉冲到多脉冲的改变,通过改变PC和抽运源的抽运电流,可实现不同的多脉冲输出。分析表明,多脉冲的产生主要是可饱和吸收体的过驱动引起的。
The Yb^3+ -doped fiber mode-locked laser using the polarization sensitive ISO and polarization controller(PC) is reported. In the normal dispersion,the fiber laser can oscillate the multipulse state by adjusting the position of the PC. If the polarizatioin state is constant, the output of Yb^3+ -doped fiber mode-locked laser changes from single pulse to multipulse with the increasing of the pump power. The fiber laser can achieve different multipulse output by adjusting the PC1 and PC2 carefully. The generation of the multipulse is induced by over-driving the fast artificial saturable absorber.
