Photochromic materials have a wide range of applications such as ophthalmic lenses,optical in-formation storages and optical molecular switches.More and more attention was paid to the synthesis and application of bifunctional photochromic materials.This article introduces the bifunctional photochromic materials based on spirobenzopyran and spirooxazine,in which special efforts have been given to the photo-chromic compounds which have fluorescent and metal coordination of photochromes.
