In constructing the competitive advantage in a firm, intra-firm technological diversification plays an important role. The paper probes into the relationship between firm technological diversification and its competitive advantage from the point of view of product innovation strategy. The research suggests that technological diversification can promote the conduction of the product innovation strategy and then improve competitive advantage of a firm.
