现实世界中的地理实体具有空间及时态属性,有效的时空数据管理技术是实现地理信息广泛应用的基础。概括目前时空数据管理的一般策略,给出基于对象关系数据库的时空数据管理结构模型。在此基础上,介绍该模型所涉及的相关技术,并提出完整的模型实现的技术框架,给出时空数据库管理系统的原型实现TSpatialService。实例研究表明,该模型能够很好地支撑时空数据的管理及操纵。
Recently, there has been a fast proliferation of applications creating spatio- temporal data that has to be processed, stored and queried efficiently. Consequently, there is a need for spatio - temporal data management systems that are able to support such storage or query operations. Spatio - temporal data management based on ORDB was derived in this paper. After bringing forward the structure model of spatio- temporal data management, one actual system named TSpatialService was designed and then implemented. The system is based on data model of Dynamic Field and accomplished through spatio - temporal extension on Postgre.SQL. Various spatio- temporal operations could be carried out in the system through simple SQL statements as well. By using the system, effective spatio- temporal data management was achieved.
