野外采集地震数据中通常充斥着大量噪声信号,严重降低了地震资料的质量,提高地震资料的分辨率和信噪比是地震信号处理的首要任务。本文将变分模态分解VMD技术运用于地震时序信号的噪声压制,相比经验模态分解EMD的递归“筛选”,VMD将信号分解转化为非递归变分模型求解问题,改善了模态混叠现象的发生。合成及实际地震资料处理结果表明,VMD方法在信噪比、运算耗时和精度指标上均优于EMD方法,具有较低的计算成本和较好的随机噪声消除性能。
Seismic data collected in the field are often flooded with a large number of noise signals, seriously degrad- ing the seismic data quality. Improving seismic data resolution and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) is the primary task of seismic signal processing. In this paper, the Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) technique is apply to the noise suppression of seismic signals. Compared with recursive "screening" of Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD), VMD transforms signal decomposition into non-recursive variational model to solve the problem, and eliminate the mode-mixing. Synthetic and actual seismic records testing results indicate that the VMD method is superior to the EMD method in terms of SNR, time-consuming and precision, and has lower computational cost and better random noise suppression performance.
