豫剧是当今国内流行的一种地方剧种。自其产生以来便与昆黄、京剧等高雅化的剧种不同;它将自己的生存根基与受众群体定位于底层的河南广大民众。从文学与史学相结合的角度来看,虽然难以在最大限度上扩展其影响力,但豫剧的这种生存方法,在很长的时期内有其自身的合理性,也维持了它在百余年间的相对繁荣。因此,当代豫剧若要得到更大发展,必须同时兼顾到高雅化与通俗化两个维度,才可以使豫剧的生命力维持长久。
Yu Opera is one of the popular local operas in China today. Since its inception, it is different from Kunqu Opera, Huangmei Opera and other elegant opera, whose survival foundation and audiences targets at the Grassroots in Henan. From the joint perspective of Literature and History, although it is difficult to maximize the expansion of its influ- ence, its survival method has its own rationality in a very long period, also maintains its.relative prosperity in over a hun- dred years. Therefore, if the contemporary Yu Opera wants to have greater development, it is necessary to take into ac- count two dimensions elegance and popularization, so that it can make a greater extent to maintain long-term vitality of the Yu Opera.
