Dendritic cells（DCs） are potent antigen presenting cells that play a prominent role in the development of T cell immune responses. The expression of tumor- associated and ：leukemic- associated antigens by leukemia-DCs, and the activation of autologous anti-leukemic T cells have been shown by several groups. Vaccination with leukemic-DCs has been suggested as a novel treatment option for leukemic patients to eliminate residual leukemia cells.
