Air-vegetation exchange of POPs is an important process controlling the entry of POPs into terrestrial food chains, and also has a significant effect on the global movement of these compounds. In this paper, the research status in the process of air-vegetation exchange of POPs was reviewed; Three main factors, including the physicochemical properties of POP compound (lgKoA), variations of plants in surface morphology, lipid content and permeability of the cuticular skin, and environmental temperature that would result in the differences were summarized, the trends of future researches on air-vegetation exchanges of POPs were analyzed and prospected, and some possible research perspectives in the future were proposed.
