Cell migration requires continuous and coordinated formation and disassembly of adhesions. Talin plays a key role in this process. In this paper, the types and functions of cell adhesions, and the structure of talin and its interactions with other adhesion components, and its important role in formation and disassembly of focal adhesions were focused, thus establishing talin as a key component protein in adhesion dynamics.
