With the data of Fif th （in 2000） and Sixth （in 2010） Establishment Census of Guangzhou, based on the basic statistical unit of street, the thesis aims to study the labor forceps spatial and time distribution and evo-lution features. The results show that：①On the whole,the volume ＆ the density of labor force in Guangzhou both gradually increase from 2000 to 2010, and gradually decrease from the old urban area to the suburb area.（2）The labor force of Guangzhou from 2000 to 2010 overal l shows a trend from agglomeration to spread. The in-dustry specialization level is quite various in different trades. From the perspective of the spatial pattern of the distribution, first of all, the density of labor force of Guangzhou from 2000 to 2010 has a decreasing trend from the city center to the periphery suburb. Additionally, the gravity of labor force moves northward. Finally, em-ployment center changes from single-core pattern to polycentric pattern.
