Virtual manufacturing is a new and advanced manufacturing concept and theory.Virtual assembling is an important branch of virlual manufacturing. Virtual assembling can assist to shake off the excessive reliance of physical prototype to test and assemble. It can improve the quality and velocity of product modeling and assembling.It benefits in decreasing product developing cost and reducing product developing cycle.The presenl state of virtual assembling at home and abroad is introduced.The feature and key of virtual assembling are introduced. The executing solution and procedure of virtual assembling are discussed.
