面向单播通信的无线网络编码机制COPE已经引起了越来越多研究者的关注。针对现有网络仿真平台不支持编码模式以及研究COPE机制所基于的试验平台环境难以广泛应用的问题,在网络仿真器NS2的无线模型中引入网络编码层并更改数据包传输流程,提出NS2的网络编码扩展的无线模型以支持对COPE机制的应用、改进以及新的无线单播网络编码机制的仿真研究。在该扩展模型上对COPE机制在ad-hoc网络中的性能进行仿真研究,仿真结果验证了该模型的可行性。
The wireless network coding approach COPE is a new architecture for unicast traffic scenario and has attracted the attention of many researchers.Since the existing network simulation platforms did not support the coding mode and the test-bed of COPE researches can not be widely used,the wireless model of the Network Simulator 2(NS2) was analyzed,and then the Extended Wireless Model for Coding(EWMC) was proposed,which added a general network coding layer into NS2,and the packet transmission scheme was modified.EWMC supports simulation researches in fields like COPE applications,COPE improvement,and other new mechanisms of wireless unicast network coding.Furthermore,the ad-hoc network in this extended model was evaluated,and the simulation results effectively verify the feasibility of the model.
