The ten-membered macrocyclic oligothiophene compound was synthesized using 2, 2'-dibromo-5, 5'-bistrimethylsilanyl-[3,3'] bithiophenyl as raw material via moisture sensitive reaction at low temperature. The title compound was characterized by ^1H NMR, ^13C NMR, FT-IR, HRMS and X ray single crystal analysis. The crystal structure of title compound belongs to monoclinic, space group C2/c. The central ten-membered ring shows a ‘twist boat' form with average inner diameter of 0. 397 0 nm.
