介绍了一种外腔式光纤Fabry-Perot干涉型(EFPI)高温应变传感器,传感器是在两段切割平整的单模光纤之间熔接一段空心光纤构成。实验证明,传感器在1000℃以下时能够稳定工作,腔长变化灵敏度为0.17nm/με,应变测量灵敏度可达±1με,线性度高达0.99998。EFPI高温应变传感器结构紧凑,工艺简洁,成本低廉,是一种可靠、优秀的高温应变传感器。
A high temperature strain sensor based on the fiber optic extrinsic Fabry-Perot interferometer(EFPI)is presented.A section of hollow capillary is spliced with two sections of cleaved single-mode fibers to form an extrinsic Fabry-Perot cavity.Experimental results show that the sensor can work stably at 1000℃.The sensitivity of the cavity length change and the strain sensitivity are 0.17nm/μεand ±1με,respectively.The linearity is 0.99998.The sensor has many advantages,such as compact in construction,simple fabricating process and low cost,which is a reliable and excellent high temperature strain sensor.
